About us
ICHA was founded by Ash, a medical researcher and chemist at Karolinska Institutet, with one goal: Create an artisanal alcohol-free beverage without compromising taste, quality, or well-being.
After years of seeing “better-for-you” drinks and Soda’s overloaded with sugar and additives, Ash went back to basics, fermenting real fruits, berries, and spices to build depth, acidity, and complexity naturally.
The result is ICHA: A fermented craft drink with bright sparkle and layered, spicy notes, brewed locally in Stockholm. The journey began in 2021 at Söderhallarna on Södermalm, where a pop-up bar next to Sébastien Boudet’s bakery quickly became a natural home for people who care about flavor, ecology, and true craftsmanship.
Sustainability isn’t a tagline, it’s the baseline. We use local, organic ingredients, verified through EU Organic certification and Äkta Vara without ANY additives or crap.
ICHA is also a family project. Behind every batch is Mum Hamida and partner Sara hands on from production to the final details.
More than a drink, ICHA is a shift: Toward flavorful, eco-minded, functional alcohol-free choices that actually feel grown-up and healthy.
